American Idol Playlist for Workouts: SHAPE Exclusive

On last night's American Idol, we had to say "adios" to Karen Rodriguez, who took a risk by singing Taylor Dayne in Spanish. Now that Season 10 is honing in on a winner, we thought it would be fun to ask our fitness experts for a playlist of songs by past American Idol winners to power up our workouts.

From Tracey Staehle, creator of Fit by Tracey DVDs:

Jordin Sparks — S.O.S. ("it brings me back to high school")

Kelly Clarkson — I Do Not Hook Up ("a good one to run to")

Carrie Underwood — Before He Cheats ("helps you get out any extra aggression!")

Kelly Clarkson — All I Ever Wanted ("keeps you motivated and focused")

Carrie Underwood — Cowboy Casanova ("nice, catchy beat")

Carrie Underwood — Last Name ("another catchy one")

David Cook — Light On  ("a mellow cool-down song")
