It's been a hot sec since Drew Barrymore posted that insane photo of her beauty collection. Now, the Santa Clarita Diet actress is finally back with another installment of her "Beauty Junkie Week," in which she posts a new beauty tip or product on Instagram every day. During weeks past, the founder of Flower Beauty has shared everything from her favorite eye lubricant and pain-relieving pads to the "gold standard of face masks." This week is already off to a promising start with a skin treatment, natural remedy, and plenty of product recs. (Related: Drew Barrymore Lost 20 Pounds While Filming Her Netflix Series)

Let's dive right in, shall we? On day one, Barrymore shared a no-makeup selfie and revealed that Clear + Brilliant laser treatments (a noninvasive procedure available at your derm's office) have worked wonders on the melasma she developed after having her children. (Related: Why Lasers and Light Treatments Are Really Good for Your Skin

Next, she shared a classic piece of skin-care advice: Always extend your skin care to your neck and chest. It's sage advice since your neck tends to show aging before your face, but Barrymore admits it's one of those practices she tends to skip herself.

#BEAUTYJUNKIEWEEK HAS BEGUN. Your beauty routine starts at this line, and we must work upward! We forget our neck and chest!!!! this me directly after a clear and brilliant laser treatment (which i highly recommend) It’s as light as it gets and is non invasive. But it helps me with my crazy level 10 Malasma after babies. And the Dermatoligist said to me, “don’t forget, your beauty routine starts from here up” and made this exact line on her chest. And I can’t forget it. We know this, but we don’t do it. I don’t. I love my skin care routines. But I forget anything below the chin. So next time you go to wash your face, remember this hand on your chest and work upwards!!!!! Ps. Remember. I don’t get paid or encouraged to post anything during this week. These are my personal finds that I can’t wait to Share !!!!!!!!!! Pss this is me with no me up and no filter except the sun in my window! @flowerbeauty @ultabeauty @walmart

The following day, Barrymore shared an unconventional use for a cult-favorite product. She uses Evian's natural mineral water on her hair instead of her skin. "It literally has that perfect atomizer that distributes perfectly for waves and curls," she writes. "Almost like the diffuser on your hair dryer. It can give the hair gentle beachy waves when minimally sprayed on dry hair." Considering Barrymore is known for her perfectly tousled beachy waves, this is clearly a tip you're going to want to add to your summer hair routine. #beautyjunkieweek OK I know this says it’s for the face, but I use it on hair. It literally has that perfect atomizer that distributes perfectly for waves and curls. Almost like the diffuser on your hair dryer. It can give the hair gentle beachy waves when minimally sprayed on dry hair. And then walk away! Just let it do it’s thing. It will softly separate your stands and give a mild texture. OR you can go to town. Spray a bunch in and scrunch the hair with your hands or dry with a diffuser for lots of kinky fun curl. I also use it on my daughters when they wake up with “fairy hair”. It is gentle and doesn’t leave it heavy or gummy like detanglers can. It’s great for my girls with the wet brush or a mason Pierson type of bristle. I don’t know about you, but my kids are not physched about hair brushing. It’s more like crawling into a Lions den. So thank you Evian! I can do what I need to do with me and myself and the girls thanks to you. I bet you are dope on the face too! @flowerbeauty @ultabeauty @walmart

Here's where things get interesting. Day three of Beauty Junkie Week included a natural remedy. It all started when Barrymore ended up with a "giant bite or reaction" on her face. She tried aloe vera to no avail, she wrote. Then she kicked it up a notch, going straight to the source, and placed a chunk of meat from an aloe vera plant from her backyard on her face for a few hours.

...and the red spot finally cleared up! "I had even tried bleaching creams, and nothing was getting the red spot off my face until this natural remedy," she wrote. In fact, she's such a fan that she keeps an aloe vera plant in her apartment in New York City so she always has it on hand when she can't just grab it from her backyard. "It's also amazing for cuts, scrapes, and especially burns. It's a must have to have around. In any form," she continued.

She also posted a snap of the removed skin (which didn't go over well with all of her followers). "For those few who benefit from this, there are too many who think I am a freak! I get it," she captioned another photo. "Beauty Junkie Week is not for the faint of heart sometimes." (Related: Drew Barrymore Had the Best Response to Instagram Haters)

#beautyjunkieweek part three Don’t get grossed out, because i know it is, but it turned into this when it came off my face. And I am not kidding you, my red mark on my face was NOTICEABLY lighter. And I did it again the next day, with a much milder impact. But in two day it’s was gone. I had even tried bleaching creams, and noting was getting the red spot off my face until this natural remedy. Aloe Vera live plant meat worked to extract the red. Anyway, I keep an aloe plant in my apt in nyc when I don’t have the luxury of finding it in the earth. It’s Also amazing for cuts, scrapes and especially burns. It’s a must have to have around. In any form. Thank you aloe Vera. You continue to amaze me with your beauty and beauty secrets. @flowerbeauty @walmart @ultabeauty #thingsthatactuallywork

Post-experiment, Barrymore recommended Juara's radiance enzyme scrub. She says she uses it three times a week, and it's the most effective product she's found for making the pores around her nose less noticeable, she wrote. (Also worthy of mentioning, Barrymore promised that just like with past Beauty Junkie Weeks, she isn't paid to push any particular products, although she does tag her own brand, Flower Beauty, in the posts.)

#beautyjunkieweek Obsessed with this brand and they sent me a sample of this scrub when i asked for their insanely effective tea eye cream for dark circles. To my surprise, my pores shrank to zip. Zero. Tight. I have slightly noticeable pores around my nose and on my inner cheeks. Gross again! Yay. I’m really hitting it hard this beauty junkie week! But there is a huge debate that once pores open, if they can ever can close again? All I know is I can only shrink mine and it’s not easy! I haven’t seen anything that works this fast and effective. I do this scrub 3 times a week and I love it. Try it if this is of interest to you. Happy Sunday to all you out there who love a good available solution! @flowerbeauty @walmart @ultabeauty www.juraskincare.com/irenewatts

Next, Barrymore branched out into nutrition-based beauty, sharing two supplements that she adds to her water. She likes Sakara's Beauty Water concentrate and 8Greens tablets, made from real greens. Barrymore took it as an opportunity for some real talk, adding that although she tends to compare herself to other women who are seemingly always put-together, the ritual helps her feel like "a responsible grown-up."

"I can put some stuff in water and feel good about myself and picture that I am in light linen clothes and I have my s!$t together!" she added. (Here are more products that turn basic water into a fancy health drink.)

#beautyjunkieweek Start your Monday or any day off with these two beauty inducing drinkable ways. @8greens has an amazing way to get your vital veggies in and @sakaralife has the most beautiful balancing rose water that tastes like your drinking flowers. Every time I indulge in these good practices, I know I am doing something good for myself, but I also feel like a pretty responsible grown up. I’m doing a ritual which almost seems like someone else. I am always running around like a chicken with my head cut off. And I see these women who are like in nice clothes with hair done talking about a tea spoon of this, and just whip this amazing bowl together!? And I’m like “why am I this crazy chicken?” But I can put some stuff in water and feel good about myself and picture that I am in light linen clothes and I have my s!$t together! Just doing one thing that seems regal and heathy is good! Back to the chicken on fire for the day! Happy Monday everyone. #FLOWERPRESS @flowerbeauty @walmart @ultabeauty

The beauty tell-all continued with a note on eye creams. Barrymore revealed that while she's down with laugh lines, her dark circles make her look "like a ghoul." She wrote that she favors eye creams with pigment to cover up the circles and revealed her top picks in a subsequent post. She gave Juara another mention for its Miracle Tea Complete Eye Cream and also included Caudalie Premier Cru Eye Cream, Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix, Clinique Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector, and Olay Regenerist Luminous Dark Circle Correcting Hydra Swirl.

Barrymore followed the eye creams with a little Flower Beauty self-promotion. (We don't hate her for it!) She posted a pic from a collab with beauty guru Carli Bybel of both women modeling bright shades from Flower's Mix and Matte Lip Duo line

#beautyjunkieweek @carlibel and some #MIXandMATTE lips from @flowerbeauty and avail at @ultabeauty and @walmart She is in “violet vixen” and I am in “red velvet”. LINK IN BIO to buy. These are my fav lips. They are a two in one and that is what we did in her video for herYoutube channel. She did my make up!!!! And we talked about how we love products that can have duo purposes. Like this lip component that has a comfort matte lip on one side and an enhancing light catching lipgloss on the other. So really a three in one. She put lip liner inside my eyes too. To make them enhanced. We did so much multi tasking. Simply put, we had the best afternoon. And I felt so pretty in her make up. And she did my first... well, you will have to watch! Love her so much I can take it!!!!!!

As it turns out, bug bites and dark circles aren't the actress's only beauty strugle. Her gorgeous hair color comes at a cost. She shared a picture from a few months ago when she had lightened her hair and it felt dead. Her solution? Visiting her hairstylist for Olaplex, a treamtent designed to repair damaged hair post-treatment. (P.S. there's an at-home version.)

#beautyjunkieweek THE BEFORE ... OK when you get older, bleach is hard on the hair! I wanted to lighten up! But what happened was my hair just didn’t respond well this time. A few months ago I lightened my hair and it just looked dead! I am was sad. Don’t i look sad? This picture is sad! I wanted to do something to feel more attractive to myself and it totally backfired. Sometimes when you try to improve yourself and your confidence, it can go wrong, and then you feel worse. Haven’t we all had a haircut or a bad eyebrow tweeze or bad hair color and you just want to run home and get in your time machine and have a do over. We know it will just take a little time before things slip back into the comfort zone, but there is also action you can take! So, watch out for how I took charge and got my solution from @traceycunningham1. As she always saves the day.
