How to Curl Hair Without Heat (And Make Your Look Last All Night)

There's no need for hot tools with this genius hack for getting super-tight curls from YouTube beauty expert Stephanie Nadia.

Give your hair a break from the hot tools and opt for these curling iron-free ringlets courtesy of YouTube beauty blogger Stephanie Nadia for a fun, flirty New Year's Eve look that will *actually* last for the entire night.

Here's how to do it: Start with damp hair. Cut an old t-shirt into long, one-inch-thick strips. Tie the first strip around a small section of hair at the root (the smaller the section of hair, the tighter the curl will be). Then, wrap the hair around the strip of cloth until you get to the end. When you reach the end, begin to wrap the cloth back over your hair so that it completely covers your hair. When the two ends of the strip meet at the top, tie a knot. Repeat over your entire head. (If you have thick hair you may need to use up to 16 strips.)

Leave in for at least two hours to lock in the style, or sleep with hair wrapped overnight for a tighter, long-lasting curl. After untying your strips, apply mouse to curls to avoid frizz, then gently part using your fingers for a more natural look.
