January Jones is the ultimate skin-care queen. The Shape cover star has long been open about the fact that skin-care is one of her "favorite self-care indulgences," and she frequently shares her go-to products and treatments on social media.

Like many people, Jones is practicing social distancing during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In a recent Instagram post, the actress shared that she's using the extra time at home to revamp her beauty cabinet—not just for the sake of productivity, but also as an easy way to feel better mentally, she said.

"I am reorganizing again.. some days I'm super down and others I'm very productive. Trying to flatten the emotional curve as it were," Jones wrote alongside a photo of her impressively stacked beauty cabinet. (BTW, here's how cleaning and organizing can improve your physical *and* mental health.)

There's no better time than now to reorganize your own beauty loot, so if you need inspiration for new products to check out, Jones has you covered.

Fair warning: Jones has previously said her skin-care regimen is "not for the faint of heart," as evidenced by the pricey products stashed in her cabinet. But if you're looking to really indulge in some of the best celeb-approved beauty brands, here are Jones' top picks.

Tata Harper

Plenty of celebs have waxed poetic about this natural skin-care brand over the years (including Lea Michele and Kate Upton). Jones counts the Tata Harper Revitalizing Anti-Aging Body Oil (Buy It, $115, nordstrom.com) and Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask (Buy It, $65, nordstrom.com) among her personal favorites from the brand.

The Tata Harper Revitalizing Anti-Aging Body Oil has a slew of antioxidants and vitamins that hydrate and soothe skin for a soft, healthy complexion. Back in 2018, Jones revealed that she swapped body lotions in favor of oils for maximum skin hydration: "I stopped using lotions and instead dry brush my skin before I bathe and then use oil-based scrubs in the shower or oil afterward," she wrote on Instagram at the time.

As for the Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask, the product features beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), which benefit the skin by loosening up dirt, excess oil, and dead skin cells, leaving skin feeling smooth and glowy.

Shani Darden

Jones relies on several products from the celeb-loved esthetician, including Darden's Texture Reform Gentle Resurfacing Serum (Buy It, $95, net-a-porter.com) and Resurface Retinol Reform (Buy It, $88, shanidarden.com). Both products feature retinol, the OTC version of retinoids, a class of chemicals that are all related to vitamin A. Retinol can help stimulate collagen to fight blemishes and wrinkles, giving skin that perfectly plump, dewy look.

Jones has previously said that Darden's retinol products are aces for "very sensitive skin" like hers. More specifically, she once wrote on Instagram that the Texture Reform serum "is a tad lighter" on the skin and can be used every night, while she prefers to use the Retinol Reform every other night.

iS Clinical

Jones is a longtime fan of this luxury skin-care brand. "I've been using a lot of iS Clinical lately—I like the Super Serum Advance (Buy It, $155, dermstore.com) for day and the Active Serum (Buy It, $138, dermstore.com) at night," she told Into the Gloss back in 2016. Fast-forward to 2020, and Jones still has these two serums stocked in her beauty cabinet.

The brand's serums help protect against free radicals that can penetrate the skin and lead to premature aging and damage. Featuring nourishing ingredients like vitamin C and hyaluronic acid, these serums are said to be suitable for a wide range of skin types and can help with issues like hyperpigmentation, scarring, discoloration, and acne. Lucy Hale even credits iS Clinical serums with helping clear her hormonal acne. (

Sisley Paris

This luxury French beauty brand has been on Jones' expansive skin-care list for years. She's previously raved about the Black Rose Cream Mask (Buy It, $166, nordstrom.com)—a luxe mask that features black rose extract to revitalize and hydrate the skin—and the brand's All Day All Year Essential Day Cream (Buy It, $420, nordstrom.com), which can help prevent aging free radicals from seeping into the skin's surface.

But the Sisley Paris product that's still claiming a spot in Jones' newly reorganized beauty cabinet is the brand's Botanical Floral Toning Lotion (Buy It, $106, nordstrom.com). The actress told Into the Gloss that she uses the lightweight, alcohol-free toner as "an extra cleaning element" on top of face wash, to help remove makeup and soften skin without irritation.
