Jessica Alba posted her first ASMR video on YouTube last week, to the delight of stressed individuals everywhere. Now she's back with an ASMR makeup tutorial featuring whispering and other makeup sound triggers. If you use ASMR to relax and love a makeup tutorial, it's exactly how you should spend the next four minutes. (

Alba talked through a quick and easy makeup look. During the video, she shared how she achieves a "dramatic difference" in her lashes without the help of falsies. First, Alba curls her lashes with Tweezerman Rose Gold Classic Curler (Buy It, $15, dermstore.com), clamping down and pulsing for a few seconds. "Eyelash curlers are everything," she whispers in her video.

After curling her lashes, Alba uses the Extreme Length Mascara + Lash Primer (Buy It, $14, walgreens.com) from her company Honest Beauty. The clean beauty pick has a primer on one side and a lengthening mascara on the other, both of which contain nourishing ingredients like jojoba oil and vitamin E. With many eyelash primers, you have to follow up with mascara immediately to have any shot at a finished product that's not clumpy. But Honest Beauty's 2-in-1 actually calls for waiting 30 seconds between steps, which Alba demonstrates in her video. Judging by her footage, the mascara still goes on smoothly. (

Of course, if you're already attached to a certain mascara, you can buy a primer separately for this step. There's L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Primer (Buy It, $11, ulta.com), a millennial pink-tinted primer counterpart to the brand's heavily-hyped mascara. Another option, Lashfood Conditioning Collagen Lash Primer (Buy It, $20, dermstore.com), makes lashes look thicker via microfibers, and conditions with peptides and soy protein. (

If you draw one takeaway from Alba's video (besides the fact that she's clearly a breakout ASMRtist), it should be that dramatic lashes are all about the prep work.
