Selena Gomez often uses her platform to talk to fans about the importance of mental health, candidly speaking about her own experiences with depression and anxiety. To help those looking for ways to stay positive during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the singer shared a video for Instagram's #TakeaBreak series, detailing what her days look like lately and how she winds down at night.

After taking fans on a tour of a few spots in her home—including a makeshift studio where she works on music as a "creative outlet," she shared—the "Lose You To Love Me" singer got cozy on her bed with her new puppy Daisy. She shared the many techniques she uses to relax at night: going for a walk, journaling, keeping a heating pad in her bed. On her nightstand, Gomez said she always keeps "beautiful" candles and sprays handy as well, including Heritage Store Rosewater & Glycerin (Buy It, $5,

The hydrating, nourishing mist can be spritzed on both your face and your hair for tons of beauty benefits—so yes, it's more than just a pretty floral fragrance. Rosewater is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, meaning it can soothe skin irritation and kill breakout-causing bacteria at the same time. (As for your hair, rosewater can help with detangling, hydration, and shine.)

Rosewater on its own is notorious for its ability to lock in moisture (in both hair and skin). But Gomez's go-to mist gets an extra boost from glycerin, a gentle, yet deeply hydrating agent hailed for its ability to combat dry skin. (

Gomez isn't the only celeb singing the praises of Heritage Store Rosewater. Victoria's Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel told Vogue in 2018 that she relies on the spray to help energize tired-looking skin. Fellow model Ashley Graham told Elle in 2019 that rosewater with glycerin is one of her beauty must-haves, sharing that she sprays the Heritage Store mist "before moisturizer, after moisturizer, before makeup, after makeup, in the middle of the day"—you get it. "Your skin feels like it's got this moisture-laminate on it," Graham told the glossy. "It's beautiful." (ICYMI: Ashley Graham Shared Her $6 Hack for Great Eyebrows)

If that sounds like the kind of self-care you need in your life—whether at bedtime like Gomez or all day every day like Graham—Heritage Store Rosewater & Glycerin is a solid budget-friendly beauty staple.
