Jennifer Lopez and her badass character in Hustlers have one important thing in common: They're both willing to do whatever it takes to get what they want. And for the singer, that means finally launching her own beauty and skin-care line, JLo Beauty, a career and life goal she's aspired to meet for the last three decades.

"This isn't just a passion project, it's a 30-year dream," Lopez wrote in the caption of an Instagram post officially announcing the line. "I can't wait to share my skin-care secrets with you!!"

Set to launch January 1, 2021, JLo Beauty is all about "being limitless," Lopez says in the Instagram video. "It's about being powerful and understanding beauty doesn't really have an expiration date."

The motivation behind the new venture: Women are constantly (and wrongfully) seen as less valuable and less worthy of attention as they age, Lopez says in the video. "I just kept waiting for that to happen [to me]," she continues. "And then I realized, no I'm not going to let that happen."

JLo Beauty has been in the works since at least 2018 when Lopez initially revealed that she'd be dropping a skin-care line at an event for her film Second Act at The Wing in New York.

"I will be coming out with a skin-care line that I've been working on for a long time because I don't want to put anything out," she told the audience. "…And so when I put it out, I want it to be something that kind of encompasses all the things I've learned, all the secrets I have. I have little secrets. None of them have to do with needles, or anything like that just so you know."

And back in June of 2018, Lopez had hinted at the line in an interview with Good Morning America, saying that she'd been working on a "little secret package thing" that's "just for your skin and…some other things."

As of now, there still isn't any info on the products themselves. But based on the inspiration behind JLo Beauty, it's safe to say the line will be a fit for all ages, skin tones, and skin types — and that it'll give *everyone* skin as radiant as Lopez's. "It's going to be something that works," she said at The Wing. "It will work."

BTW, if you haven't seen Lopez's skin lately, she looks like she took a nice long soak in the fountain of youth. Exhibit A:

Bronze and highlight definitely play a part in J.Lo's insane glow, and the singer dropped her first makeup line with Inglot in 2018. She's also credited her appearance to plenty of lifestyle factors over the years: Getting enough sleep, avoiding alcohol and caffeine, genes, working out, and meditating. But the skin-care "secrets" she hinted at likely play a huge part as well, and for the specifics on those, you'll just have to wait and see what miracle products JLo Beauty has in store.

Sadly, you won't be able to grab J.Lo's skin-care goodies until January 1, 2021 (though you can sign up to get "early access" on December 8, 2020). Until then, you can try some of the products that the star is rumored to use for glowing skin.
