And we've all been doing it wrong

We know that we shouldn't wash our hair every day (we aim for three times a week, max), but we didn't know that when we do break out the shampoo, there's a right way to get the job done. Namely, you need to lather twice.

Here's why: When you wash your hair less frequently, dirt, oil and product have longer to build up, so there's more to wash away. That means on the days when you're washing, you should shampoo at least two times in order to make sure that all the grime is dealt with, leaving you with a clean slate until you wash again.

And as an added bonus, your hair will be extra shiny from all the TLC.
