But don’t let their cost fool you—these beauty buys are high quality and, yup, expert-approved.

So, next time your weaving through the aisles during your weekly grocery haul or standing in the incredibly (yet amazingly) organized checkout line, grab one of these Trader Joe’s beauty products that skin-care experts swear by. Nourish All-In-One Facial Cleanser, $6

"If I could only buy one Trader Joe's beauty product, this would be my pick," says Ivy Boyd, makeup artist and blogger behind Wake Up For Makeup. "I've used this cleanser for many years and here's why: It's gentle, effective, tearless, fragrance-free, and um, did I mention it's $6?!" While it does an A+ job at gently washing away any impurities, it falls short on the exfoliating front. So you'll likely need to employ another product for sloughing your skin (something you should do regularly, btw). Other than that "it's pretty damn near perfect," according to Boyd.

Honey Mango Moisturizing Cream Shave, $4

"I love to use this from head to toe as it turns from an oil into a milky wash that smells amazing and leaves skin so soft. I also use it as a luxe bath soak and to shave my legs."

Ultra Hydrating Gel Moisturizer, $9

This lightweight moisturizer is ideal for both men and women and feels so refreshing on the skin, says Sarah Lucero, global executive director of Creative Artistry at Stila Cosmetics. "Of the many sheet masks I've tried, this one still stands out," says Boyd. At just $2 (yes, $2!) a mask, this well-priced product is packed with proven hydrating ingredients like honey, glycerin, and rosehip oil—all of which are also gentle and, thus, a smart choice for sensitive skin.

Lavender Salt Scrub, $6

"This is the most heavenly-scented, oily body scrub that leaves your skin totally hydrated—to the point you don't have to even follow with a moisturizer," says Boyd. The combo of almond, apricot, and avocado oils nourish the skin while the soft scent of lavender leaves you feeling relaxed (and can also help with migraines).

Head to Toe Moisturizing Balm, $4

When a pro like Lucero says she keeps at least one container of this multipurpose balm in her makeup kit at all times, you know it's a winner. You can use this balm everywhere like chapped lips, elbows, over-washed hands, cuticles, face—literally head-to-toe and everywhere in between.

"It doesn't feel greasy and it is also great for flyaway hair or even fly away beards. I also like to use it with a brow/mascara wand spoolie to tame unruly brows," she adds.
