After watching the 2022 Oscars, every viewer can agree: The only thing that slapped harder than Will Smith was Zendaya's jaw-dropping ensemble. I, for one, get chills just looking at the photos. From the cropped button down to the shimmering, Cinderella-esque skirt, the whole look struck a perfect balance between elegant, fun, and sexy. Anyways, all fan-girling aside, the effortless updo also needs to be mentioned, especially because it was created with a $6 product.

As the name suggests, Tresemmé's One-Step 5-in-1 Volume Spray (Buy It, $6, target.com and walmart.com), was created to do the work of a cabinet-full of styling products. Polymers, a favorite ingredient in formulas for curly hair, act as a conditioning agent, leaving strands smooth. Meanwhile, collagen amino acids and castor oil protect your hair from heat and even repair past damage. Finally, citric acid removes build-up, creating a shiny, bouncy look. The result? A soft, healthy-looking mane.

While so many of the sprays, serums, and sculptors used to create this week's Oscars looks cost more than my rent, Zendaya's stylist, Antoinette Hill, chose to sculpt the actress' 'do with this no-fuss smoothing mist, and with good reason. So many shoppers say it's great for everyday styling and even adds volume to thin hair. (BTW: Jennifer Garner said this serum was her "secret weapon" for shiny Oscars hair.)

One reviewer with short, fine locks said,"It gives my hair volume without leaving it sticky, dry, or any residue," adding that it also keeps static under control during the winter. "The Tresemmé One Step 5-in-1 Volume Spray is a godsend if you have thin fine hair," wrote another reviewer, who also noted that after applying the spray, their blowout stays looking fresh all day. Yet a third user mentioned the "mist definitely gives hair a little lift when sprayed on roots prior to blow drying," and leaves hair "soft and full." An added bonus?

So many shoppers said they also loved the scent. An easy hack for award-worthy hair, this simple $6 volumizing mist might just be what your hair routine is missing. Check it out for yourself at Target and Walmart.
