If you've been following athleisure trends, you know that bike shorts are back-in a big way. Pretty much every fashion blogger has been rocking them lately, and even Kim and Khloé K. are huge fans of the sporty look. And while we *know* this is one of the comfiest trends ever, how to style them and still look cool is less clear. That's why we pulled inspiration from athletic-chic Instagram accounts. Ahead, find out how to steal their style savvy and get in on the look.

Match your sweatshirt and kicks.

One foolproof way to create an off-duty outfit around basic black bike shorts is to match your top and sneakers, like model Lana Jeavons-Fellows. She opted for a neutral hue, but this idea definitely works with any color of the rainbow. Add shades and you're good to go with a chic weekend look. Throw on a blazer.

Up for something a little more advanced? Jill Wallace of Little Black Boots has mastered the art of dressing up bike shorts. By wearing a checkered blazer over her white sports bra and bike shorts set, she takes her activewear staples to the next level. Of course, if you're not down for midriff-baring, it's easy to swap in a solid tank or tee for a sports bra. To kick things up a notch, add a ladylike structured bag and chain belt.

Go moto.

When struggling to style pretty much any athleisure item, a moto jacket can help. That's how influencer Steph Weizman turned her shiny active bike shorts into a non-workout outfit. And again, if going with just a sports bra on top isn't your look, change it up with a tank or tee; you'll still accomplish the same effect.

Button up.

Another simple styling trick is to just add a printed buttondown, like model and influencer Paloma Elsesser. Wear it untucked like she does, or tie it at the waist. Grab some sporty slides or a cool pair of sneakers and you're set.

Do the half tuck.

A big t-shirt over bike shorts can leave you feeling like you're dressed like a little kid, but when you master the art of the half-tucked shirt, as model/trainer Laura Dundovic clearly has, you can make any oversize tee into a fashion statement.
