Kate Spade first started dabbling with wearables in 2016 after launching their first fashion-meets-fitness activity tracker. Now they're taking things to the next level with their first full-on smartwatch—and it's everything you'd expect and more. (Here are eight fitness trackers we love.)
Dubbed the Kate Spade New York Scallop Touchscreen Smartwatch, the watch was made in partnership with the Fossil Group and will have full touchscreen capabilities. It will come in three different styles: two rose gold watch cases, one with a metal bracelet and another with a blush leather strap, and a gold-toned watch case with a black leather strap.

Kate Spade fans will recognize several of the brand's iconic touches, including the scalloped edge along the watch face and the spade engraved on the watch's crown. The watch will also come with a Choose Your Look app that asks questions about your style, so it can generate a color scheme that complements your vibe. (Reaching for your wallet? "The Kate Spade New York girl is connected at all times. And now, with our 'choose your look' watch app, she has access to the most feminine, fashion-forward, and customizable smartwatch functionality to-date," Mary Beech, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Kate Spade New York said in a statement. "Whether she's wearing pink, stripes or dots, our scallop touchscreen smartwatch will match her outfit, tying her look together with a unique Kate Spade New York twist."

That being said, the watch is more fashion-focused and doesn't come with a built-in GPS or wrist-based heart sensors. It does, however, have a microphone so you can use Google Assistant, and it has basic activity tracking to help you get in those steps.
