Ralph Lauren Just Unveiled the Uniforms for the 2018 Olympic Closing Ceremony
You're going to want one of everything before you hit the slopes this season.
Less than 100 days away, it's officially time to get excited for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea. While we wait to see the world's best athletes duke it out on the ice and snow, Team USA just gave us a reason to start getting into the Olympic spirit. The official uniforms the U.S. Olympians will wear during the closing ceremony have arrived-and you're going to want to shop them before hitting the slopes this season. (Also check out these Olympics-inspired workout clothes.)
Earlier this week, Ralph Lauren-the official designer for Team USA-and the United States Olympic Committee dropped the collection of ski-ready snow gear. The head-to-toe look includes a patriotic white puffer bomber jacket, vintage-inspired ski sweater, sharply tailored fleece-lined ski pants, hike-ready suede boots, old-school bandana, and matching '70s-inspired wool hat and mittens set. The whole look is surprisingly laid back-you wouldn't look out of place while sipping a hot toddy après-ski.
To debut the patriotic threads earlier this week, the USOC enlisted several Olympians including snowboarder Jamie Anderson, figure skater Maia Shibutani, and bobsledder Aja Evans. Check out the full look on Evans and Shibutani below.
The best part? You can actually shop the official uniforms. According to a press release from Team USA, the collection will be available to buy at select Ralph Lauren boutiques and online in December. We're willing to bet that rocking official Team USA gear while flying down slopes this season will make you feel like pure gold.
