With the ever-growing popularity of the fitness-meets-fashion trend, will Victoria's Secret be the latest brand to hop on the athleisure bandwagon?

Look, we all love Victoria's Secret: They offer high quality bras, panties, and sleepwear at affordable prices. Plus, there are those Angelss we may or may not watch in epic costumes (and a million-dollar bra) every December. (And we love following the Victoria's Secret models for inspiration on Instagram.)

But Victoria's Secret has also been known to sell on-trend, well-priced and generously sized swimwear through its direct mail catalog and website. However, there are reports that the lingerie giant is throwing in the towel when it comes to bikinis (and the catalog biz). Instead, they'll be focusing on launching a whole new selection of athleisure wear.

While details are still emerging, we've already fans of VS Sport for the same reasons we love the original lingerie: a wide array of sizing, flattering fits, on-trend colors, and no need to spend $eriou$ ca$h. And it's no surprise that Vicky's would want to get into the athleisure game, considering how big of a market it's become. (It's even in the dictionary now-we're pretty sure the trend is here to stay.)

Similarly, Business Insider recently reported amidst relatively dismal sales numbers in teen and women's clothing areas, athleisure was the one bright spot. It seems that people are willing to shell out more when it comes to the studio-to-street style. And with Victoria's Secret's track record of affordability, wide ranging of sizing and solid fit, we're willing to gamble that their move into the athleisure world is going to pay off.
