Zara Launches a Chic and Affordable Activewear Line
The Spanish brand just introduced "gymwear" and our spring workout (and athleisure) wardrobe can hardly wait
As athleisure slowly but surely takes over the fashion world, it seems we have more options to choose from than ever, ranging from high-end designers like Tory Burch and Kate Spade to more affordable fast-fashion chains like Forever 21 and H&M. (Psst... Did you see that Caitlyn Jenner is the face of the new H&M Sport campaign?) And now, there's the perfect in-between option: Zara Gymwear.
The just-launched spring/summer collection consists of 57 sporty-chic pieces to outfit you from head-to-toe whether you're into boxing, running, yoga, swimming, or just want to lounge in style. Rest assured, it's every bit as fashionable as you'd expect from the Spanish brand known for being at the cutting edge of runway trends while maintaining prices you can actually afford. Most items, including all workout tops, bras, leggings, shorts, and swimsuits, ring in at $20 or $30. Sneakers that could give Nike and adidas a run for their money will run you $70.
The collection also features accessories with some motivational phrases (because who doesn't love a good inspo quote?!). Both a fast-drying towel and armband feature the saying 'my time, your break, our moment', and grippy yoga socks say 'good moments' and 'good feelings'. While the collection isn't technically available for purchase yet, you can sign up to be notified by email as soon as the items do go on sale (Zara promises that will be sometime in the next two weeks). In the meantime, you can check out the full collection on Zara's website and start drafting that wish list. Like most of the brand's uber-popular pieces, we have a feeling this stuff won't be around for long.
