Two points away from defeat, Serena Williams managed to rebound on Sunday night in the last four games and beat opponent Victoria Azarenka 6-2, 2-6, 7-5, to win her fourth championship and 15th Grand Slam title, ESPN reports.

"I honestly can't believe I won. I really was preparing my runner-up speech, because I thought, 'Man, she's playing so great,' " Williams said during the trophy presentation after the 2-hour, 18-minute match, adding: "I'm really shocked."

We're not! Congratulations on your win, Serena! You deserve it.

The superstar also earned another unofficial title this weekend: That of top-earning female tennis player. This win makes Williams the only women's tennis player to cross $40 million in earnings.

Williams accomplished all this after recovering from some major injuries. She missed the 2010 U.S. Open after stepping on broken glass in Germany and having surgery. She's also dealt with blood clots in her lungs and had surgery for a hematoma as well. No doubt about it: The girl is tough!
