When it comes to how we feel about our bodies, we all have our bad days, and not even fitness pros like Cassey Ho are immune to the temptation to beat themselves up when they look in the mirror. The Blogilates founder and social media star has opened up in the past about her battle with body image issues and having the "Perfect Body" via her YouTube channel.

And last week, the celebrity trainer got even realer about her "physical war" on her body. Ho spoke alongside other badass YouTube chicks Rosanna Pansino, Lilly Singh, and Lindsey Stirling on the #GirlLove panel at VidCon 2016 and opened up about her battle with orthorexia, an unhealthy obsession with eating healthy foods. "I used to have an eating disorder and a body image disorder because I thought I had to be super skinny and super toned, and all of that kind of stuff, and compared myself with other fitness people and Instagrammers," she said according to People. "Once you realize there's so much more than your abs and your booty, then you can really thrive in life."

Despite receiving more than her fair share of shade from body shamers online, Ho is thriving indeed. With over 1.3 million follower on Instagram and over 3 million subscribers on YouTube, the fitness guru is making use of her reach to share her body positive message and help the rest of us redefine our relationship with our bodies.

"Your body is not what you're about," she says. "You're about what inside your body, inside your brain, your heart, your character, your talent." Amen to that. (Want more body love? These Women Show Why the #LoveMyShape Movement Is So Freakin' Empowering.)
