I want results when I'm trying to get healthier, but I hate turning my entire life upside down to get there, which is why I'm a big fan of small changes. As a personal trainer, I always start my clients off by working on one habit at a time-and I take the same approach. Personally, I am a bad kitchen snacker. I stand in front of the fridge eating bites of this and that while trying to decide, "What should I eat?" So I recently started planning out my dinners for the week on a pad of paper that sticks to my refrigerator. Now when I get hungry I head to the fridge, but I have a list of meal ideas staring back at me! The small change of planning dinners has made a big difference in my random kitchen snacking.
