When shopping for OTC pain-relief products, you probably expect to see a few familiar options which have a vaguely medicinal vibe. But four new pain-relief products that read "skin-care" more so than "eyesore" have entered the chat.

Sagely Naturals, a CBD brand that counts Cameron Diaz, Molly Sims, and Zoe Saldana as fans, is behind the glow-up. The brand reformulated four of the products from its best-selling Relief & Recovery collection, creating new non-CBD versions. The new products launched exclusively at Target last month. (

You have your choice between a Pain Relief Cream (Buy It, $17, target.com) or a more potent Extra Strength Pain Relief Cream (Buy It, $20, target.com). Or, for easier, targeted application, you can try an Active Pain Relief Roll-On (Buy It, $15, target.com) or a thicker Pain Relief Stick Balm (Buy It, $14, target.com). Each format contains moisturizing ingredients you wouldn't see in your run-of-the-mill pain-relief product. For starters, you'll find safflower, marula, and argan oils in the creams while the balm contains coconut oil, shea butter, and avocado oil. (

And while the products feature the above skin-nourishing ingredients, you can still expect them to provide sweet relief when your knees, back, shoulders, etc. need it the most. The pain relief cream contains five percent menthol (a common active ingredient in topical pain relief products that offers a cooling sensation) and the other three are all made up of 10 percent menthol. The products also incorporate camphor, another ingredient with pain-relieving effects. (

If you've been training hard or dealing with arthritis, fibromyalgia, or other forms of chronic pain, using a pain-relief product that didn't have the most beautiful formula or packaging might have felt like a necessary trade-off. No need to make the small sacrifice; the next time you make a Target run, you'll have the option to choose something that feels a little more elevated.
