Valentine's Day isn't a bad time to get swiping: Tinder data shows a 10 percent increase in usage on Valentine's Day compared to the month before. (Although, FYI, the best day to use Tinder is the first Sunday in January-aka cuffing season.)

If you've been reluctant to join Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, or another dating app, these stories from fit couples who met online will inspire you to get swipe-happy. You just might meet your swolemate.

Amanda & Jesper

Less than 24 hours after Jesper moved to Amanda's town in Sweden, they matched on Tinder. They chatted for about a week before meeting IRL, and-fast forward to today-they've been together for two and a half years. They bonded over their love of fitness, and even have an Instagram dedicated to their workouts-all of which they do together. (BTW, here's what it's really like to be in a relationship that's #fitcouplegoals.) Though they do typical gym routines about four times a week, they also spend weekends goofing around with couple's exercises like human sled pushes or partner push-up/tuck-ups. (Try these fun partner exercise ideas with your bae or BFF.)

Paul & Amanda

Amanda caught Paul's eye with a red dress on Tinder (not too surprising considering seeing the color red gives you an energy surge), and they quickly bonded over their shared love for staying active. Two years later, and they're going strong-literally. Amanda, a nonprofit writer with a kinesiology degree, swims on the reg, and Paul, a tattoo artist, participates in triathlons.

Erika & Jon

The couples that travels together, sticks together, right? Erika, a world traveler, met her husband while traveling through Bangkok, Thailand. Just two days after matching, they met in person and had a five-hour-long first date in a Bangkok McDonald's-proof that you can find love in even the most unexpected places.
