The cozy slippers I used to wear 24/7 in my humble abode have moved into the back of my closet, and I spend most of my days moving about my space and exercising in my makeshift home gym completely barefoot. Of course, skipping shoes isn’t exactly acceptable in public spaces or actually practical when I’m trying to get my steps in. So when I do venture into the outside world nowadays — whether it be for a hot girl walk or an ice cream run — I always wear the OOFOS OOmg eeZee Low Shoes, the slip-on sneakers that trump every other pair I’ve owned, both in terms of style and comfort. OOFOS OOmg eeZee Low Shoes Key Features How I tested: I wore the OOFOS slip-on sneakers almost daily for three months, walking on pavement, trails, and other terrains.Perfect for: People who are up on their feet all day and need a cute pair of kicks that keeps their joints pain-free.What you’ll love: The cloud-like footbed, minimal break-in time, and lightweight feel.Keep in mind: The causal sneakers are a bit expensive, but they barely show any signs of wear despite all the miles I’ve walked in them, so they’re a worthwhile investment. Underneath the crisp white exterior is an ultra-cushy footbed that’s designed to support your arches and reduce stress on your knees, ankles, and other joints. In fact, OOFOS’ proprietary foam (unsurprisingly called OOfoam) absorbs 37 percent more impact than the materials used in traditional footwear, according to the brand. And it’s not a joke: I recently wore the sneakers on a three-plus-mile walk on gravel trails, concrete sidewalks, and dirt paths. Despite the rough and ever-changing terrain, I wasn’t in desperate need of a foot rub when I returned home — an ache-relief technique I usually crave after strolling in other slip-on kicks. Even with the supreme level of support, the OOFOS slip-on shoes are still lightweight, stylish enough to wear in public, and pair seamlessly with activewear sets and date-night outfits alike. The canvas-like upper is elastic enough that I can wear my favorite socks without my feet feeling suffocated, but they haven’t stretched out to the point that the shoe slides off my heel with every step I take. And thanks to the magical closed-cell footbed, the OOFOS kicks still have a fresh-from-the-box smell. While my kicks are a bit scuffed after all the miles I've logged in them, I'm not too worried about their run-down appearance being permanent; you can easily remove any grime by tossing the shoes — footbed and all — in the washing machine, according to the company. But if your motivation to do laundry is always low, there's good news: The OOFOS OOmg eeZee Low Shoes come in eight other colors, including a Cabernet option that's perfect for autumn (or Taylor Swift concerts) and a neutral Taupe that belongs on the beach, that can easily hide dirt marks. No matter which hue you choose, your feet will surely feel like they're stepping on clouds. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
