Gut Healing Tropical Smoothie
This soothing smoothie will help calm an irritated GI tract. Pineapple contains bromelain, which is an anti-inflammatory enzyme, and coconut oil is easy on the stomach and readily digested.
- 3 - 4 strawberries, cut small
- 2/3 banana, sliced
- 7 ounces fresh-pressed pineapple juice
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon pure and unsweeted gelatin
- 1 teaspoon L-glutamine powder, pharmaceutical grade
- Mix all ingredients in a blender.
