Spicy Wasabi Salmon Burger


  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1 teaspoon wasabi powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 4 ounces wild salmon fillet, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 egg white, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds


  1. In a medium bowl, mix water with wasabi powder, and whisk until blended.
  2. Add Dijon mustard, salmon, egg white, soy sauce, and sesame seeds, and stir until mixed well.
  3. Form into a burger patty, and grill 2 to 3 minutes per side (or until desired doneness).
