Tahini Marinade


  • Tahini
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • Chopped parsley
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Minced garlic clove


  1. Stir together 1/4 cup tahini, 1/4 cup lemon juice, and 3 tablespoons warm water; season with a generous pinch of salt. Stir in 1/2 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt, 1/3 cup chopped parsley, 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes, and more salt to taste. Reserve 1/4 cup of sauce. Stir 1 minced garlic clove into remaining marinade, and use it to marinate 2 pounds chicken or pork before grilling. Drizzle cooked meat with reserved sauce if desired.
