This Skincare Duo Seriously Improved My Oily Complexion
If you're like me and struggle to find a skincare routine that helps improve your oily complexion, you're in the right place. I stumbled upon these products a few months ago and my skin has never looked (or felt) better.
This Duo Is My Secret to a Glowing Complexion
My oily skin has been one of my biggest insecurities for a few years, and after trying several brands and products that seemed to make it worse, I felt defeated. That all changed when I went to my local Bed, Bath & Beyond and found the Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer and Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser on sale. Both brands have stellar reputations and since they're so affordable (costing only $10 each) I thought, why not try them?
I start and end my day by washing my face with one pump of the Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser for normal to oily skin. It removes excess oil without drying out my skin, instead giving me a smooth, matte complexion I feel confident about. Plus, it gives my skin an even texture that makes applying and blending makeup a breeze. It's made with gentle, nonirritating ingredients that also help remove dirt and makeup, and I love that it doesn't leave behind a sticky residue. After cleansing, it's important to hydrate your skin (especially in the winter), and although it sounds counterintuitive to put more moisture on oily skin, the Neutrogena oil-free formula was a total game-changer for me. In my experience, it works wonders and I'll never go back to using anything else.
Improving my oily complexion had always been my main priority, but my cheeks tend to get really dry as the seasons change. All I needed was to read the bottle of the Neutrogena moisturizer for combination skin and I was sold. It says, "this non-greasy formula moisturizes where skin is dry, without leaving it oily or shiny." As if it couldn't get any more straightforward, it's exactly what I had been looking for—and for a budget-friendly price I couldn't pass it up. I use one pump every morning and night after the Cetaphil cleanser and the lightweight formula hydrates my skin without clogging my pores.
I've never had a skincare routine that makes me feel so fresh and clean. It sounds cliché, but I really do feel beautiful in my own skin now that I've found this dynamic duo that helps keep oil under control.
