This Is by Far My Favorite Electric Toothbrush—and My Dentist Approves
While we all probably agree that dental hygiene is important, it still may seem surprisingly hard to find a good toothbrush. Thankfully, I stumbled upon the Quip toothbrush and I'm hooked. With bristles that aren't too hard or too soft plus just the right amount of vibration to help get in between all my teeth's cracks and crevices, the Quip is one of my favorite electric toothbrush hands down. Read on to see why.
My Favorite Electric Toothbrush
Ever since I was little, I've always cared about my smile and obtaining perfectly white teeth, while also avoiding unwanted plaque buildup and possible cavities. This resulted in me trying out all sorts of different toothbrushes, manual and electric alike, in order to find a tried-and-true brush that could help me obtain my oral hygiene goals. I found some toothbrushes to be too hard on my gums, while others would feel like they weren't doing enough. After some serious research and reading a lot of first-hand reviews, I've finally found one that I'll never stop using. Get ready to smile: The Quip toothbrush is a true game changer—and my dentist approves.
Compared to other toothbrushes, the Quip is an affordable, waterproof (i.e. you can use it in the shower) option and features a simple design that I'm absolutely obsessed with. While it looks almost identical to a manual toothbrush it's actually electric—hidden inside are two AAA batteries. You can either replace the batteries yourself once they run low, or invest in Quip's refill plan which includes a new brush head and two batteries every three months for only $5. Although my battery life has lasted anywhere between five and six months, I opted for the second option because it's such a great deal, not to mention dentists recommend replacing your toothbrush every three months.
Available in two plastic design options, four metallic options, and two special edition finds, this toothbrush is stylishly ahead of the game. But the Quip isn't just pretty, it's also functional, with an adhesive mount that can be applied to practically any surface of your bathroom (mine is on my mirror), and some interesting functions I didn't realize I needed in a toothbrush. For starters, while brushing it quietly vibrates for 30 seconds then pulses to notify me that it's time to switch quadrants of my mouth. After brushing each section of my mouth (a total of about two minutes), it pulses three times to let me know that I'm done.
I've been using the Quip toothbrush for over a year now and I can honestly say that I've never experienced such amazing results. Confession time: I hadn't been to the dentist in more than a year and I was really nervous about what she would find. To my relief I had zero cavities, and my dentist said it was probably due to brushing with the Quip. I like how this particular toothbrush assures me that I'm brushing long enough without being obnoxious, and it's an accepted option by the American Dental Association. Along with thousands of other satisfied customers, I can't stop raving about this incredible toothbrush to everyone I know. I've seen major improvements in my dental hygiene and love showing off my pearly whites.
