Feeling ready to get back out into the world again? Under Canvas, the ultimate glamping company, is ready to welcome you with open arms.

Since 2009, Under Canvas has provided outdoor lovers with the chance to sleep under the stars. But, by no means is this your daddy’s camping. All its locations—including sites at the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Moab, and the Great Smoky Mountains—come with luxury safari tents, plush linens, private bathrooms, made to order picnics, and more. And now, the company is preparing to welcome summertime once again with both enhanced offerings and new health protocols to keep guests happy and safe from the coronavirus. At each campsite, tents have always been well spaced apart to ensure guests’ privacy and enjoyment of their natural surroundings, so no need to worry about social distancing. However, to further keep guests safe and healthy, Under Canvas says it plans to modify its operations to include individual check-in via a touch-screen kiosk and no check-out will be required. It’s also offering individual takeout food and beverage orders to enjoy in private tents and will be cleaning tents using EPA certified products. Guests can also use new hand sanitizing stations available throughout camps and in individual tents. It also plans to stagger camping dates to ensure everything is running smoothly with the new measures. “We know how anxious our community is to come and stay with us and have been monitoring state and local guidance closely to inform our revised opening dates, in a measured and thoughtful way,” Under Canvas wrote on its website. “We are planning a staggered opening of camps starting from late May and are accepting reservations accordingly.”

Ready to book? Under Canvas plans to open its Great Smoky Mountains camp on May 28, its Zion and Moab locations on June 4, its Grand Canyon and Yellowstone locations on June 11, its Mount Rushmore camp on June 19, and it Glacier National Park location on July 1.
