This Former Cirque Du Soleil Gymnast Makes Working Out with Kids Look Easy
This takes #fitfam to a whole other level
Handstands are tough as it is. Now think of doing one with two toddlers hanging from your back. Sounds near impossible, right?
Former Cirque Du Soleil gymnast, Gaukhar Akhmetova-Atherton makes it look easy, performing jaw-dropping stunts with her two little ones dangling off her body. Take a look for yourselves.
The Kazakhastanian gymnast began performing when she was just 17 years old, and recently retired to focus on her children. She definitely has her hands full, and it seems her three-year-old daughter, Kamali, is quickly following in her mother's footsteps.
"She loves to dance and will always join me when I'm training," the mom told the The Daily Mail. "I'm not a pushy mum and try to make everything we do fun together." And it's clear from the video: Kamali is all smiles, loving every moment she gets to put on a show with her mom.
Akhmetova-Atherton, who is married to former British gymnast Andrew Atherton, and her entire family can often be seen performing unbelievable acrobatic stunts together. Now that's one way to put a spin on family bonding time.
