Gabourey Sidibe is a rockstar in the world of body positivity, impressing us with her ability to ignore negativity and spread the message that beauty is all about self-perception. Now her face is popping up on subway posters, billboards, and even on the sides of buses in New York City as one of the stars of Lane Bryant's latest ad campaign, and her emotional response to them is seriously touching.

"I'm still not over this," she wrote on Twitter. "Who knows how many subway posters I walked by hoping to one day feel as beautiful as the faces I passed." Now Gabby is the one helping passers-by to feel comfortable in their own skin.

Despite being bullied by the media for her weight over and over again, Gabby has chosen to rise above the haters and make us love her even more with her entertaining Twitter responses to the campaign.

#ThisBody Is Made To Shine is Lane Bryant's attempt to dial up the positivity on social media and represent women of all shapes, colors, and sizes. By harnessing the power of stars like Gabby and her friend Danielle Brooks to fight the misrepresentation of women in the media, they're hoping to remind everyone to love their body - because everybody's body is one of a kind.

It's campaigns like this that we need to see more of in the media. Gabby's bold, stunning role in this campaign reminds us all to love the skin we're in and be proud of the beautiful women we all are.

Watch the video below to see Gabby, Danielle Brooks, Ashley Graham, Candice Huffine, and Alessandra Garcia clap back at their haters in the new #ThisBody campaign.
