It's pretty well-known that salmon is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, potassium, selenium, vitamin A, and biotin, all of which are good for your eyes, skin, hair, and pretty much the rest of your body, too. In fact, the American Heart Association recommends eating at least two servings of salmon per week to reap the benefits. But if you're Victoria Beckham, apparently that's not enough. In a new interview with Net-a-Porter, Beckham told the site that she eats salmon every single day to keep her skin clear. (Her skin does look gorgeous, so maybe she's on to something.)

The fashion designer suffered from breakouts for years before figuring out that salmon was the key. "I see a dermatologist in LA, called Dr. Harold Lancer, who is incredible. I've known him for years – he sorted my skin out. I used to have really problematic skin and he said to me, 'You have to eat salmon every single day.' I said, 'Really, every day?' And he said, 'Yes; breakfast, lunch or dinner, you have to eat it every single day.'"

While every day seems a bit excessive to us, if it works, it works. Beckham also explained that she's recently learned a lot more about food, nutrition, and the importance of healthy fats.

"I've also started seeing [nutritionist] Amelia Freer," she said. "I've learned so much about food;you've got to eat the right things, eat the right healthy fats. I usually get up about 6am, do a bit of a workout, get the kids up, get them changed, give them breakfast, get them to school, then do a bit more working out before I go to the office. And to do all of that, I've got to fuel my body correctly."

In a world full of beauty and skincare trends that come and go (vampire facials, anyone?), this is solid, healthy advice we're happy to stand behind.
