One of the perks of working in Hollywood is that you get invited to a lot of fabulous events. I've always had fun at them before, but this past weekend I attended my first party since starting this weight-loss adventure-and it ended up being the biggest confidence-booster ever! I ran into a bunch of people who last saw me 25 pounds heavier, and they all raved about how thin I looked. (I'm sure it helped that I'd traded my usual jeans and hoodie for a slinky black dress and 3-inch heels.) While it's been really rewarding to see the number on the scale go down each month, nothing beats getting such a fantastic response in person. It gave me just the lift I needed and hit home that this program is really working. Now that's a reason to celebrate.
