Are some types of people more prone to gain weight than others? According to a new personality study published by the American Psychological Association, yes. People with personality traits of high neuroticism, low conscientiousness and impulsivity are more likely to go through cycles of gaining and losing weight throughout their lives as compared with others without those traits, researchers say.
In the personality and obesity study, researchers looked at almost 2,000 people over the course of 50 years and found that impulsivity was the strongest predictor of whether or not someone would be overweight. Researchers say that these traits usually cause people to give into temptations and not have the discipline to stick to a healthy living plan, especially amid difficulties or frustration.

2. Does this meet my goals? Very simply put, does what you're thinking of doing fall in line with what your healthy priorities and goals are? If not, you know what to do...make the healthy choice!
3. Will I regret this decision? Put yourself in the future - will you wish you did something differently? If so, make the healthy decision that you'll be proud of later.
