There have been too many times in the past where I've made a decision to go to the gym, only to scrap the idea when I realized I'd forgotten to do laundry and had no clean workout clothes. Or I've fully intended to have a salad for dinner, but after discovering that I was out of vinaigrette, ended up ordering a pizza instead. I know that a little bit of organization will make it a lot easier to stay on track, so I've started devoting 15 minutes every evening to getting myself ready. I pack my gym bag and set it by the front door, check the fridge and make a list of any groceries I need, and review the next day's schedule to figure out exactly when I can fit in my workout. I know that these few minutes are well worth it when I see the results on the scale.
