Breakfast: Oatmeal with chopped apple and soya milk

Lunch: Mashed potatoes/carrots/savoy cabbage with lettuce and cheese

Snacks: Yogurt with chopped orange, rice pudding

Dinner: Couscous with vegetables (mangetout, carrot, olives), oven-roasted potatoes

total: 1770 kcal


Zumba Class, 60 minutes


Apparently Zumba burns an average of 700 calories and hour. No wonder I'm wiped out afterwards. I went to the supermarket and was very tempted to buy an unhealthy snack but then I went for pineapple cubes. Yum. I've noticed that I like fruit much more than chocolate/crisps etc, they taste so much better. But it's hard to break the habit of wanting to reach for the Snickers. Well I suppose that is the whole problem - bad habits. I haven't had alcohol or meat since 1999. I never even feel tempted to have them. If only I could do the same about unhealthy foods!

Tomorrow is my 'optional' day as far as exercise is concerned. Mostly because in the last two months, I was so sore the day after Zumba class. So I guess I'll just see how I feel in the morning.
