My sister, Brooke, was visiting recently, and we were catching up over some wine. I didn't want to drink too much because I had an early morning walk planned, so I just poured a splash. Before I knew it, my glass was empty, so I gave myself a little more. My sister noticed what I was doing, and brought up a good point: Because I was having a sip or two at a time, I didn't think I was drinking that much. But all of those little tastes added up and I was probably downing more than I realized. Instead, if I just poured myself one serving (5 ounces, about one-fifth of the bottle), I'd know exactly how much I was having-avoiding a surprise hangover in the morning and all of those extra calories. Thanks, Brooke!
