I recently signed up for a six-week bootcamp class at my gym, and the first session was yesterday. After a warm-up, we made our way through nine different stations, each featuring a specific exercise-for example, chest presses, squats on a Bosu ball, dumbbell rows, and lunges. We were only at each stop for a minute, which made it easy to push myself hard for two full circuits. And since the instructor didn't let us rest for too long between moves, I quickly got my heart rate up. Afterward we cooled down with some yoga moves and stretching. I wasn't sure if I was going to like this military-style workout, but I did. In fact, I can't wait for the next class!
