Tommy Houck, my trainer at Gold's Gym, is trying to kill me. Well, not really, but he's certainly causing me a lot of pain. We've been meeting three times a week for 20-minute strength training sessions. When he first set up that schedule, I was skeptical that I'd see results with such short workouts. I was wrong. Each time we focus on one muscle group (chest and back, legs and abs, or arms and shoulders). When he's done with me, whatever body part we focused on feels like rubber and is sore the next day. But I keep reminding myself: No pain, no gain! It's been just a few weeks and I'm already noticing that my thighs look more toned, I have definition in my biceps, and there's a little tricep muscle peeking out that looks fabulous.
